Yannick Nepomuk Fritz

Yannick Nepomuk Fritz is pursuing a MA in Media Philosophy, Art Research and Exhibition Design at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design with a study year at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Prior to this, he studied in Potsdam and Hong Kong obtaining a BA in Media Studies. In Karlsruhe, he is currently writing his thesis on the political epistemology of generativity pertaining to contemporary artificial intelligence. The research interests developed therein and in the time in Karlsruhe and Vienna more generally inform his writing and criticism also in connection to contemporary art and have been published on the blog of the research group KIM (Künstliche Intelligenz und Medienphilosophie) as well as the magazine springerin. He is part of the editorial team at UMBAU.
