Yannick Fritz

Yannick Fritz is currently pursuing a MA in Media Philosophy and Art Research at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design with a study year at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Prior to this, he studied in Potsdam and Hong Kong obtaining a BA in Media Studies. In Karlsruhe and Vienna, he has deepened his studies of media examining the tension between their materiality and sociotechnical imaginaries and focuses on algorithmic culture and contemporary art. He is part of the editorial team at UMBAU.
