Vanessa Bosch

Vanessa Bosch is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher working between Karlsruhe, Utrecht, and Berlin, whose work often centers around aqueous topics. She is a co-founder of the music label and artist collective 76666, and also freelances as sound artist—working mainly from field recordings and video game samples. Having graduated with an MA from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) in 2021, her artistic spectrum continues to evolve fluidly between various media, interactive installations, ecological and philosophical research, and performance. She has exhibited or performed at Kunsthalle Mannheim; the Eye Museum, Amsterdam; ZKM Karlsruhe; Kunsthal Hilversum; Wilfredo Lam Museum, Havana; UN/GREEN Festival, Riga; and on the streets of Tokyo, amongst other venues. Recently she has been more actively involved in combatting anti-Asian racism, and increasingly reflects on her Asian identity and the extent of structural racism.
