Lukas Klein

Lukas Klein (*1998, in Epsom, UK) is a designer and researcher currently based in Cologne, Germany. His design practice explores the intersection of material culture and environmental narratives, focusing on everyday materials, their contexts, systems of production, and ecological stories. As a graduate of the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe, his artistic research combines furniture design, video, photography, and writing to explore and reimagine these interconnections as a way to reflect on possible futures. Lukas has participated in various residencies, collaborative projects, and worked for design studios, further expanding his practice through interdisciplinary exchanges and hands-on experience.
