Jule Köpke

Jule Köpke is an Art Research and Scenography student based in Karlsruhe, working between research, writing, and a spatial art practice. They studied Cultural and Curatorial Studies in London before continuing their studies at HfG Karlsruhe. They worked as part of the theatre collective collektif:capslok, at the Staatstheater Darmstadt, and for the National Theatre London as part of the CCW Research group. In their research and own practice they are trying to embed structures of narration taken from their theater-practice and curatorial background to explore topics like counter-narrative building and science-fiction, feminist structures of work, and performance studies. They are part of the editorial team of UMBAU.
