Isabel Motz
Isabel Motz (*1997, in Bietigheim-Bissingen) works as a graphic designer and artistic researcher in Stuttgart. While studying at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG Karlsruhe) she developed her research practice, combining graphic design with her interest in the history of specific localities. While investigating local phenomenons, she creates global interrelationships and questions given structures and narratives of the Anthropocene. By recombining the materials found during her research process on site and in archives, she creates narratives within spatial interventions using documents, photography, video, sound and text.
She is currently a scholarship holder of the Landesgraduiertenförderung Baden-Württemberg and will be at the KABUFF residency of E-WERK in Freiburg in summer 2025, where she will also collaborate with the Biennale für Freiburg.
