Elisabeth Pichler

Elisabeth Pichler is an independent curator and researcher based in Berlin. She holds a Diploma in Communication Design (UAS / FH Potsdam) and a Master in “Cultures of the Curatorial” (Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig). From 2016–2019, she was a doctoral fellow of the DFG Research Training Group “The Photographic Dispositif” at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts. Her research centres on artistic research, archival practices and cultures of memory after 1989 / 1991. With a focus on photography, she realises interdisciplinary projects and exhibitions that combine artistic, media science and publishing practices.
