Chiara Siravo

Chiara Siravo is a curator, historian, and researcher. She is Archival Curator at the Open Resource Center at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) and is part of the curatorial department at MACRO—Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome. Between 2017 and 2020, Chiara built and curated the I-DEA exhibition project for Matera European Capital of Culture 2019 together with the project’s director, Joseph Grima. Working with artists, theorists, and architects, the exhibition project was focused on mapping the institutional and grassroots archives present in the region of Basilicata. She holds a degree in history from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and an MA in the history of material culture and design from the Royal College of Art and Victoria & Albert Museum.
