Ariana Dongus

Ariana Dongus is a media scholar and researcher based in Berlin and Karlsruhe. After earning a degree in European Media Science from the University of Potsdam, she worked as a freelance journalist and filmmaker and studied directing with a focus on documentary forms at the self-organised film school filmArche in Berlin. In her research she explores the intersection of biometrics, colonial pasts, new forms of working conditions and machine intelligence, and contributes to a critique of today’s digital economies.
