Anastasiia Bergalevich

Anastasiia Bergalevich is an artist, researcher, and writer whose work explores video art, critical theory, cultural theory, institutional critique, feminism, and (post-) Soviet cultural studies. A significant focus of her research is the preservation, restoration, and documentation of media art. She studied at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Smol’ny College) of St. Petersburg University and holds an MA in Art Research from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG Karlsruhe). She also attended the School of Engaged Art (2018–19), a participatory educational project organised by the ‘Chto Delat?’ collective.
